Privacy Policy

Cleandocx is built around a simple idea: your documents should stay on your machine. This policy is short and honest about the data we collect today — because today, Cleandocx is a waitlist, and the app itself is not yet released.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

• Your email address — so we can tell you about early access.
• Your type of work (Legal, Research, Finance, or Other) — so we can prioritize and tailor what we build.
• Your signup date and time — so we can manage early-access outreach.

We don't ask for your name, your company, or any payment details, and the site uses no advertising or analytics tracking cookies.

What we never collect

Your documents. Cleandocx is designed to process files locally on your own computer. We do not receive, upload, store, or have any access to the documents you work on. There is no product server that your files pass through.

Why we collect it

We use your email and signup date to manage Cleandocx early-access updates, and your work category to help prioritize product development. We do not send unrelated marketing, and we will not add you to other lists.

Where your data is stored

Waitlist signups are stored securely in a database hosted on Cloudflare, which also serves this website. Cloudflare acts as our infrastructure provider and processes this data on our behalf. Access is limited to the people running Cleandocx.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. We use Cloudflare for website hosting, security, the waitlist database and email forwarding. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and request information when your browser fetches them. Messages sent to hello@cleandocx.com or privacy@cleandocx.com are forwarded to a Gmail inbox, so Google also processes that correspondence.

Technical information and correspondence

Cloudflare may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information and connection details, to deliver and protect this website. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message so we can respond. Please do not send confidential documents by email.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist details until Cleandocx launches and we've finished early-access outreach, or until you ask us to remove them — whichever comes first. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from updates at any time. To do any of these, email privacy@cleandocx.com and we'll take care of it.

Children

Cleandocx is a tool for working professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

As Cleandocx grows from a waitlist into a released product, this policy will be updated to reflect any new data practices. We'll change the "last updated" date above whenever we do.
